2. Measure and trim the film to size as close as possible without it being too small.
3. Prepare a spray bottle with water and a few drops of liquid soap, and shake it up.
4. Apply the soapy water only immediately before applying the film. If it dries at any point, add more. The film needs some moisture when it makes contact.
5. Only remove the backing immediately before placing it on the wet window. It may not be easy to remove - try gently poking at the edge with a knife or sharp pin to separate the plastic.
6. Pull the backing down only about 10 inches and get it straight on the top of the window. Then gradually pull off more backing and press the film to the wet window. It needs to be applied quickly and with as little touching of the window as possible to maintain its static charge.

7. Once it's on the window, use a squeegee or credit card to smooth out any bubbles. Keep an eye on it over the next hour or two to remove any new bubbles that form. The package includes:
